Injected by medical providers
Anatomical dosing and placement by clinicians who do this every day. The goal is refreshed, not expressionless.
Jeuveau or Botox
We carry modern neuromodulators and recommend based on your muscle activity and history, not on what we need to move.
Results in days
Smoothing typically begins in 3–5 days, full effect by two weeks, lasting roughly 3–4 months.
Botox and Jeuveau, and why we lead with Jeuveau
Both Botox and Jeuveau are neuromodulators — purified botulinum toxin type A that softens the muscle movement causing forehead lines, the "11s" between the brows, and crow’s feet. They are close cousins. Jeuveau is the newer of the two and, in our experience, tends to onset a touch faster for many patients, which is why it is our primary neuromodulator. That said, the product matters less than the hand injecting it. If you have a history with Botox that worked well, we are happy to stay with it.
What actually determines your result is dosing and placement: reading how strongly each muscle pulls, respecting the muscles that should keep moving, and treating your face as an asymmetric, individual thing rather than a template. Done right, you look rested and like yourself. Done by rote, you get the frozen look everyone is trying to avoid.
What Botox treats — and what it does not
Neuromodulators are the right tool for dynamic lines: the creases that appear when you make an expression. Forehead lines, glabellar frown lines, and crow’s feet are the classic three. Beyond those, we treat bunny lines on the nose, a gummy smile, chin dimpling, and downturned mouth corners, plus masseter treatment to slim a wide jaw and relieve clenching and grinding.
What Botox does not do is fill volume or erase lines that are etched in at rest — that is filler and resurfacing territory. Part of a good consult is being honest about which lines will respond to a neuromodulator and which need a different plan. We would rather tell you that up front than sell you units that will not deliver.
What to expect at your Draper appointment
A first visit runs about twenty to thirty minutes. Your provider maps the treatment areas, discusses dosing, and injects with an ultra-fine needle — most people describe a brief pinch, and topical numbing is available on request. There is essentially no downtime; you can drive yourself and return to work. We ask you to avoid lying flat, hard workouts, and rubbing the area for a few hours afterward.
Smoothing begins around day three to five and reaches full effect by two weeks. We book a complimentary two-week touch-up window for new patients so we can fine-tune if a muscle needs a little more. Results last roughly three to four months; most patients settle into a rhythm of three to four visits a year.
Common Questions
How much does Botox cost in Draper?
Neuromodulators are priced per unit. The number of units depends on the areas treated and your muscle strength — a typical forehead-and-frown treatment is a predictable range we quote exactly before injecting. Ask about our Evolus rewards, which currently include $40 off Jeuveau.
Is Jeuveau the same as Botox?
They are both botulinum toxin type A neuromodulators and treat the same dynamic lines. Jeuveau is newer and tends to onset slightly faster for many patients, which is why we lead with it — but we carry and recommend based on your history and muscle activity, not on what we need to move.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe a brief pinch. We use ultra-fine needles and can apply topical numbing on request.
How long until I see results, and how long do they last?
Smoothing starts in 3–5 days with full results at about two weeks, lasting roughly 3–4 months. New patients get a complimentary two-week touch-up window.
Will I look frozen?
Not with anatomical dosing. The goal is softened lines with natural movement preserved — we treat the muscles causing the creases while leaving the ones that make your expressions read as yours.
Can Botox slim my jaw or help with clenching?
Yes — masseter treatment with a neuromodulator can slim a wide or square jaw over time and relieve teeth grinding and jaw tension. It is one of our more popular treatments for patients who clench.
